Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“Customer”, “you”) and Shashi Kumar, an individual operating Sentinel as a sole proprietor based in Bangalore, India (“Sentinel”, “we”) governing your access to and use of our website and the Sentinel service (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service & eligibility

Sentinel discovers, governs, and produces evidence about the AI tools and agents in your environment. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract, and you represent that you are authorized to act for the organization you register.

2. Accounts & security

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights; (b) attempt to breach security, access other tenants' data, or disrupt the Service; (c) reverse engineer except as permitted by law; (d) resell or provide the Service to third parties without our consent; or (e) upload data you lack the rights or consent to process. Security testing is welcome through our responsible-disclosure process.

4. Plans, billing & taxes

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring (e.g. monthly) basis through our payment processor (Razorpay/Stripe). Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Fees are exclusive of taxes (e.g. GST), which you are responsible for. You authorize us and our processor to charge your payment method for applicable fees. Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Free and demo tiers

We may offer a free tier and time-limited demo environments. These are provided “as is”, may run on sample data, and may change or be discontinued at any time. Demo data auto-expires.

6. Customer data & ownership

As between us, you own your data and the findings derived from it. You grant us a limited license to host and process that data solely to provide and improve the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum. We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, software, and our trademarks. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation.

8. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's confidential information with reasonable care and use it only to perform under these Terms. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. Sentinel surfaces governance findings to assist you; it is a decision-support tool and does not guarantee detection of every risk, regulatory compliance, or the prevention of any incident. During pre-pilot use the Service may run on labelled sample data.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your data or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Term & termination

These Terms apply while you use the Service. Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days. You may cancel at any time per the Refund & Cancellation Policy. On termination we will, on request, delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka will have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. (Adjust for your jurisdiction.)

14. Changes

We may update these Terms; we will post the new version here and update the date, and notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
